Until you have experienced what Round Table is about it is difficult to describe in words…
Do any of the following sound interesting?
Curry, Fine Food, Hang-Gliding, Three Peaks Challenge, Go-Karting, Real Ale, Barn Dances, Kayaking, Weekends in Eastern Europe, Raising Money for Charity, running a Huge Fireworks Display, being Santa Claus, Frisbee Golf, Greyhound Racing, Fire and Ice Walking, Hog Roasts, Survival Camping, visiting the Houses of Parliament, a Day at the Races, Quad-Biking, Trailer Reversing Competitions, Laser Quest, Guest Speaker Nights, Indoor Climbing, Orienteering, Sporting Weekends…
Then you should be involved with Solihull Round Table – this is less than two years worth of what we do!
At heart Round Table is a club of like-minded gents who like to have an occasional beer, organise interesting social events and in the process raise large amounts for charity through the Solihull Round Table Fireworks and Christmas Santa Collections. The club runs in a relaxed manner with no overt formality – it’s all about friendship, fun and good causes. The clubs members come from all walks of life from solicitors to vets, hotel managers to property developers and entrepreneurs to I.T. specialists.
It’s also not expensive. In 2012 it is just £45 per month to be a member and this also covers all of the social activities. Everybody has a personal account and if you don’t use up all of your £45 each month on the various social activities and Table membership, what’s left is given back at the end of the year…no fun, no fee!
